This directory is intended to help the general public find people with expertise in various aspects of historic preservation, be it planning, design, development, financing, tax credits, National Register nominations or accounting as well as museums, venues and other preservation or history-related organizations. The directory is made up of major donors to our organization and is intended to recognize these people and companies for their generosity to the cause of historic preservation in Missouri. It is NOT AN ENDORSEMENT of any of the companies or individuals mentioned.

Wollenberg Building Conservation, LLC began in 1992 under Columbia University -trained architectural conservator, Peter Wollenberg. The company works almost exclusively on historic buildings, monuments, and sculpture projects in Missouri and throughout the Midwest. Our work includes condition assessments, documentation and restoration planning and project over-site, analysis of material deterioration problems, analysis of historic paints and mortars, and treatment of large and small monuments. Our project list includes St. Louis City Hall, the Wainwright Building, the St. Louis State Hospital and the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis; the Missouri State Capitol and the Supreme Court Building in Jefferson City; monuments in the Illinois, Missouri, and Minnesota; museums in Historic New Harmony, Indiana, Wichita, Kansas; and the Clinton Library in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Principal, Peter Wollenberg, is a past chapter president and International Board member of APT (Association for Preservation Technology International), a member of the American Institute of Conservation (AIC), past chapter president of the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) and current Board member of the Statewide organization, Missouri Preservation.
