This directory is intended to help the general public find people with expertise in various aspects of historic preservation, be it planning, design, development, financing, tax credits, National Register nominations or accounting as well as museums, venues and other preservation or history-related organizations. The directory is made up of major donors to our organization and is intended to recognize these people and companies for their generosity to the cause of historic preservation in Missouri. It is NOT AN ENDORSEMENT of any of the companies or individuals mentioned.
We strongly urge you to obtain competitive bids and get references from contractors, etc. before the start of any building rehabilitation project.

Biography
The Society of Architectural Historians, St. Louis Chapter, holds meetings for the study and observation of architecture and especially architectural history, promotes visits to significant works of architecture, and makes the public aware of the value of the architectural heritage of this region and of mankind. The Chapter maintains a website and publishes a quarterly newsletter containing articles on recent research into the region’s architects and architecture as well as a calendar of architecture related events in the region including exhibitions, lectures, and special tours. The Chapter holds two annual meetings, coordinates lectures about architectural topics and sponsors a series of History Hikes through St. Louis area neighborhoods. (7/18)
