Places in Peril 2026

Do you know of a special historic building or site that is threatened by demolition, neglect, inappropriate development, or something else? Would increased statewide attention help?
Nominate it for the 2026 Places in Peril list — Missouri Preservation’s annual list of endangered historic places.

The Places in Peril list is meant to bring awareness to endangered places, the groups that support them, and their goals
(ex: fundraising campaigns, volunteer needs, etc.)
Please note: Places in Peril is not a grant/funding program.

The 2026 Places in Peril announcement will be made online in December.

Nominations due by November 6, 3036
