Want to Get involved?

Do you enjoy writing? Do you like to take photos of historic Places?

Missouri Preservation is seeking individuals passionate about historic preservation to help us create engaging content for our website and social media!

Missouri is a large state full of intriguing history and beautiful historic places — our staff at Missouri Preservation is only 2 people. While we do our best to convey the news we hear, we know there is more out there to see and share.

To help the world understand the importance of preservation, we need to show them the places that matter and tell them why they matter!

Do you enjoy writing? If you’ve already written on any topics related to preservation or history in Missouri we would like to share it! Need an idea? These are some topics we’d love to hear about:

  • How did you get involved in preservation?
  • What is your favorite historic place in Missouri and why?
  • Have you been involved in a major advocacy movement for a historic structure? What inspired you to get started and how did it work out?
  • Missouri is home to a variety of small, obscure towns with big stories. Tell us why your small town should be known!

If you enjoy taking photos, particularly of barns and historic buildings, please share them with us! We’ve recently started #MOBarnMonday and #WhereInMOWednesday on our Instagram. Be sure to follow us to get in on the fun!

Any content and questions can be directed to Riley Price at admin@preservemo.org

  1. Hello!

My name is Danielle and I’m currently working at the Missouri Botanical Garden here in St. Louis. I received my Masters of Science in Historic Preservation at the University of Vermont in the winter of 2018 and I have a lot of experience working in historic homes and collections. I would love to connect with you all and get involved in preservation projects here in St. Louis and the surrounding areas. I know that everything and everyone have been effected by the COVID-19 virus and that processes are moving slower than usual, but whenever you are able please get in touch and let me know how I can help. You can reach me anytime through email. Take care!
