Louis Sullivan in St. Louis
Join famed architect John Vinci, FAIA for an in-depth journey into the world renowned architect Louis Sullivan’s work in Saint Louis. John Vinci has a career of expertise in the preservation of historic buildings and has received several AIA Awards for his achievements. John uses his experience from rehabilitating many noted Louis Sullivan landmarks, including the Cason Pirie Scott department store and the Alder and Sullivan Stock Exchange Trading Room, to dive into the history and preservation of the treasured Sullivan structures in the St. Louis area. AIA St. Louis is proud to host John Vinci, FAIA for his presentation of ‘Louis Sullivan in St. Louis’taking place on Wednesday, September 11 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. The program will be held at the St. Louis Kansas City Region Carpenter’s Regional Council, located at 1401 Hampton Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139. A reception will start at 5:30pm preceding the program, food will be provided.
