| Description | Sealed bids for construction of HISTORIC BUILDING REHABILITATIONS, PRATHER OFFICE BUILDING, 300 East High Street, Jefferson City, MO will be received from General Contractors at Fred Vogel Insurance Office, 301 Monroe Street, Jefferson City Missouri until 1:30 PM CST, Thursday, December 19, 2024, and then at set location publicly opened and read aloud. The envelopes containing the bids must be sealed and addressed to: Rick Prather, Owner’s Representative, Charles and Dorlene Prather Trust, 3210 Pembroke Square, Jefferson City MO 65109. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be viewed and ordered online at American Document Solutions, Forum Shopping Center, 1400 Forum Boulevard, Suite 7A, Columbia, Missouri 65203, Telephone (573) 446-7768, email orders@adsmo.net for nonrefundable fee. Checks are payable to ADS and mailing costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. A hard copy set of documents or a download of documents at a lower cost are both available through ADS. All Contract Documents must be obtained by the Bidder from ADS to be an Eligible Bidder. Owner and/ or Architect will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda (if any) obtained from sources other than the issuing office. Technical questions regarding the project are to be directed to Randy Allen, AIA, RGA Consulting LLC (573) 644-4210. To expedite responses to technical questions regarding the contract documents, prospective bidders are encouraged to send written questions to Randy Allen, AIA via e-mail: randy@rga-consulting.llc. A Pre-Bid Conference for or Contractors planning to bid the Project will be held at 10.00AM Thursday, December 5, at the project location, 300 E. High St., Jefferson City, MO. General Contractors planning to submit a bid as a prime contractor are required to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the specified time for receipt of bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The Contractor shall not pay less than the current prevailing hourly rate of wages for work of a similar character in the locality in which the work is performed, as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. Payroll records will be required from the Owner and Grant Administrator. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, MBE, WBE and DBE bidders are encouraged to bid. FEDERAL FUNDS ARE INVOLVED IN THIS PROJECT AND COMPLIANCE WITH ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS IS REQUIRED. |
