Kathryn Feldt is the Executive Director of The Frank Lloyd Wright House in Ebsworth Park, a Wright designed property in Kirkwood, Missouri. In that capacity she has been instrumental in several important preservation initiatives including the development and implementation of a comprehensive conservation management plan. She is passionate about preservation, not only the protection of buildings, but also on documenting and sharing the richly varied stories that define places. Recently, she founded a nonprofit organization, HERstoric, as a way to celebrate some of the remarkable women who influenced the built environment in the mid-century. Prior to her professional work in historic preservation and placemaking, Kathryn has served in leadership positions for various nonprofit, corporate and academic institutions including the St. Louis Symphony and Washington University in St. Louis. She holds a BSBA from Saint Louis University, and a MHS from Washington University. She is a St. Louis native, and outside of work enjoys time with her husband, Don and two puppies. Missouri Preservation is excited about the experience Kathryn brings to the table!
Mitchell Goist somehow found his way from a PhD in the field of mathematics to a new career doing historic rehabs! Mitchell and his wife live in St. Louis and are currently rehabbing what is known locally as the Lion House.
