Workshop Offerings & Webinars

This page is under construction.

We’re happy to come speak to your group or community on a variety of preservation-related topics! The list below is not comprehensive — if you’re interested in having Missouri Preservation speak to your organization or town, please reach out.

Cemetery Preservation

Ever wonder how to preserve that old abandoned cemetery you drive by occasionally? Why do we preserve cemeteries? Why does it matter? What are the correct products, tools & techniques to “ do no harm” to the monuments? Who can help me with my project? Missouri Preservation’s newest board member, Kurt Jordan (https://kccemeteryman.com/), is happy to provide group presentations and field training. He is a trained cemetery preservationist and can help give you the information and insight you need to begin your own preservation project.

The Why’s of Historic Preservation & How to Get People on Board

One of the first steps in advocating and saving our historic properties is conveying their importance to others. This is often easier said than done. Learn about the interpretive method and how interpretive planning can help you advocate for your historic home, site, downtown, etc.
