| Description | The City of Warrensburg desires to contract with a qualified consultant who meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications for an architectural historian to develop Historic Preservation Design Guidelines for Commercial Buildings. The new design guidelines will be used to protect the irreplaceable historic character of the City of Warrensburg and provide guidance for historic property owners on the maintenance, care, and treatment of their buildings. The design guidelines shall be applicable citywide to all commercial buildings 50 years or older, excluding those located on the University of Central Missouri campus. Currently, there are no design guidelines for Warrensburg, and there are two local landmarks and no local historic districts.
