Happy Holidays from Missouri Preservation!
Want to help fulfill our wishes this holiday season? Missouri Preservation would love…
New members for our Board of Directors!
We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds to join our team and help steer Missouri Preservation into its 50th year! The board currently meets monthly, and members are required to participate in at least one committee. Missouri Preservation is looking to do major strategic planning in 2026, so now is the time to get involved and help us shape the future of the organization!
Committee members!
Not quite sure you’re able to dedicate time to the board? We are also seeking members to participate in various committees! Committees are the working groups that help staff carry out our mission, such as organizing the annual Conference, coordinating the Honor Awards, and announcing the Places in Peril. There are also standing committees focused on organizational development and fundraising, and other needs as they arise.
Are you curious about joining our board or a committee and want to know more about what it takes to be involved?

Members & Donors!
Did you know Missouri Preservation relies solely upon our members to run the organization from day to day? Overhead costs aren’t glamorous, but they are an integral part of being able to complete our mission and help the historic places that matter to Missourians! Here are some examples of how your membership can help Missouri Preservation:
- A $45 Friend Membership covers (1) month of our discounted subscriptions to Adobe Creative Suite or Mailchimp
- A $100 Preservationist Membership takes care of (1) month of our phone & internet, or our annual discounted subscription to Zoom
- A $200 Patron Membership would pay for our discounted yearly subscription to QuickBooks or Dropbox
- A $500 Corporate/Contributor membership would cover our annual website hosting expenses
- A $1,000 Benefactor Membership would pay for (1) month of rent at our office, as well as parking.
Volunteers!
Missouri Preservation always needs people to help out at our annual events, but we could also use some specialized expertise from time to time. Do you have any experience with the following and would be willing to contribute your time and expertise to Missouri Preservation? Reach out to Executive Director, Riley Price, at director@preservemo.org!
- QuickBooks Online and/or knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles
- Salesforce CRM (primarily back-end development)
- Lawyers, especially those with knowledge related to 501(c)3 organizations and/or real estate
- Fundraising and major-gift programs
