Friday, December 2nd @ The Local
Downtown Ghost Tour | 6:30 p.m. — Join our board member and Salem native, Jacob Stotler, on a ghost tour through Downtown Salem. The tour will start and end at The Local (The Local is a new establishement, not yet open– more information on location to be released soon).
Social Hour | 7:00 p.m. — It’s happy hour and you’re invited! Mingle with like-minded history buffs and historic preservationists while enjoying a new local gathering place. The Local is a new bar in a historic venue — featuring lots of wonderful photos of Salem’s past!
Saturday, December 3rd @ The Bonebrake Center
Coffee Talk | 11:00 a.m. — “Henry Hohenschild: Missouri’s Forgotten Architect.” Learn about this architect whose work could be found in small towns across Missouri, including Salem! Plus, have a cup of coffee on us!
Show Me Social is a new traveling series that features and celebrates smaller communities across the State of Missouri. Each Show Me Social consists of tow events: a Friday night happy hour and a Saturday morning Coffee Talk. These events are FREE and open to the public. Registration not necessary.
