Emily has five years of archeological and architectural survey professional experience. Recent survey work includes reconnaissance and intensive level surveys of historic resources within the FEMA 100 Year floodplain in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York, which included background research, completion of inventory forms for OPRHP, and digital data management. She has also conducted reconnaissance level survey and data collection using digital mapping and survey tools of all historic structures within rural Shannon/Oglala County, South Dakota. Emily holds a B.S. in Anthropology with a Minor in History from Kansas State University and an M.D.S in Historic Preservation from Boston Architectural College.
